New York based Cooper Creek Partners has partnered up with Montlake to launch a UCITS compliant version of their North American Equity Long/Short strategy. The new fund will invest in a portfolio of high conviction ideas with a low net exposure and aims to generate alpha on long and short side while remaining highly non correlated with equity markets. Cooper Creek employs a catalyst-driven, value-oriented approach to investing in small/mid-cap, under-the-radar and/or out-of-favour North American companies with the potential for transformational change.
