Hedge Funds continued their upward trend with a +0.69% advance for the HFRX Global Hedge Fund index in October, bringing YTD gains to +5.15%. The biggest gains were for Macro/CTA funds, advancing +1.92%. In the slipstream of a rising stock market, Equity Hedge funds gained +0.79%. After a very good to 2017, the HFRX Event Driven Index slightly lost some value with -0.13% in October.
