We just hosted our LuxHedge Alternative UCITS seminar in Brussels last week where a broad range of Benelux professional investors and media attended.

On fund selector side, we welcomed pension funds, insurers, private banks, family offices, Fund of Fund managers and insurance brokers, all very interested to explore the diversification benefits that Alternative UCITS can bring to their portfolios and the portfolios of their clients.

Four alternative fund managers presented their story and approach to generate absolute returns across a wide array of strategies: Equity Long/Short, Absolute Return bonds and Alternative Risk Premia. After a plenary session, smaller groups of 10 to 15 people were formed to allow for in-depth discussions and interactions. A very well appreciated format which we’ll definitely keep for our future initiatives.
