Robeco’s 5 year outlook on expected asset returns shows bonds as currently very expensive, projecting an annual -2.5% return for the 10yr German bund and a mere +0.25% for worldwide high yield bonds. With central banks expected to take their foot off the pedal, Robeco has lowered their return outlook for most asset classes and expects more volatility is lying ahead of us.
